EAST COAST GEM OPENS IN SRI LANKA
Largely unexplored for more than 30 years, Sri Lanka’s east coast is a real gem and the recently opened Karpaha Sands resort is billing itself as one of the region’s “best kept secrets”. Set along a 15km stretch of stunning, pristine beach and within a beautiful bay, the property consists of spacious tented suites either directly on the beach or within their own private gardens – and has been designed to provide eco-conscious living amid a lush tropical setting. Karpaha Sands also benefits from being less expensive than other luxury offerings in the region.
Selective Asia’s 12-day East Coast Sri Lanka costs from £2729 pp (using deluxe accommodation) excluding flights.
